The MJJ Foundation provided support to scientists from Ukraine who are studying or have completed their doctoral studies and are continuing their research, who were looking for opportunities to temporarily continue their work from Lithuania.
100,000 EUR support was provided to thirteen female researchers who fled Ukraine with young children, who were given the opportunity to work and continue their research at Lithuanian universities. Also, the foundation allocated 10,000 EUR to a school for additional lessons for Ukrainian children in Vilnius. These funds were intended for the teachers who conducted the lessons and for the purchase of a computer.
Who ccould apply:
- Postdoc researchers from Ukraine affected by the war
- Researchers with ongoing collaborations with Lithuanian universities and institutes
- Hosting Lithuanian universities, research centers or individual laboratories that are ready to temporarily host a scientist from Ukraine (those institutions can submit an online application to MJJ)

Financial conditions and support:
- Up to 1000 Eur monthly salary (including 15 proc tax) for living expenses
