About the foundation

In 2019 Marius Jakulis Jason started the foundation to financially support talented business persons, academics, and students who want and are able to contribute to the economic growth of Lithuania.

The support is split into three directions – BUSINESS, KNOWLEDGE, and SCIENCE,  will annually receive 10 percent of the foundation’s worth, which at this time is €7 million.

The BUSINESS direction –  this is financial support and mentoring to persons to come to start a business in Lithuania. A person seeking the foundation’s support has to have enough capital or investment from another investor to match the sum being asked from the foundation. Along with financial support, a mentoring network will be established to ensure the success of the business venture.

The KNOWLEDGE direction – these are grants for master’s studies at the best universities of the world, given to active and talented Lithuanians in order for them to come back and share their knowledge to create a better future for Lithuania. The recipient of the grant commits to working in Lithuania for an agreed period after finishing the studies.

The SCIENCE direction – this is financial support to academics who have finished their PhD studies at foreign universities and are willing to come to Lithuania, continue their science career here, and share their knowledge with local students. An independent jury will select the academics to pay them a monthly scholarship salary for up to three years.

These programmes will annually receive 10 percent of the foundation’s worth, which at this time is €7 million.
