Gailius received MJJ Knowledge grant to study Development Economics and Data Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the science of helping poorer countries and people by analyzing the specific problems they face.

The faculty boasts names that have transcended the boundaries of Economics into general knowledge, such as Esther DufloAbhijit Banerjee (co-authors of the best-selling Poor Economics) and Daron Acemoglu (of Why Nations Fail fame)”.

In cooperation with national scholarship program “Kitas 100” (Next 100) Jonė received MJJ Knowledge grant to study at the Cambridge University. After studies, Jonė aims to bring back to Lithuania best practices of creative education. Born and raised in the family of two teachers she chose the same direction and studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA), Music and Arts Private University of Vienna, Franz Liszt Academy of Music, worked in England, Bristol.

One-year MPhil program in Education (Arts, Creativity and Education) at Cambridge is known for the innovative, impactful knowledge and scientific articles. The program highlights the importance of interdisciplinary and interactivity as well as dialogue of policymakers, teachers, artists, scientists and communities.

Barbora received Knowledge grant for two-year special “Health Economics and Management” Master program at Oslo, Bolognia, Erasmus Rotterdam and Insbruk universities, which are one of the best in Europe in this field. After finishing this world recognized program Barbora will come back to Lithuania to work at the public sector. This inspiration to work on the health policies Barbora got from Kurk Lietuvai program and two years work at the Ministry of Health in Vilnius.

MJJ foundation has provided a 40 000 Eur business development investment to randu.lt founders.

randu.lt was created by two Lithuanians, who have returned from Berlin. It is a service which helps companies attract both active and passive candidates to open positions, using digital marketing, technology and data management tools. In 2019 the service was used by 90 companies, which attracted more than 12 500 candidates.

The founders Paulius R. and Paulius V. have known each other for more than 15 years. The friends chose their bachelor studies in Berlin, where they got an economy bachelor’s degree in one of the top-rated German universities, on the way gathering varied experience. After studies, Paulius R. was managing growth and development teams of several well-known HR and FinTech startups in Berlin. At the same time, Paulius V. was working with a private investment fund, taking care of portfolio development, investment attraction, portfolio companies’ sales and acquisitions.

Since the beginning of their studies, both guys knew they wanted to open their own business in Lithuania. While studying they developed e-commerce project for eco-friendly products. Then helped an established HR company in Vilnius to overcome candidates search challenges by using principles of digital marketing. After successful results this search and attraction service was developed further and since October 2018 opened to market with the name randu.lt.

randu.lt is a tool which attracts not only active employment seekers but also passive candidates and processes a segmented initial selection of potential employees. The system uses digital marketing principles, technology solutions and data science. Algorithms target job offers to specific audiences and actively promoted in the platforms where the candidates spend the most time: mobile phones, news portals, social networks and other favorite pages. Interested candidates join the interactive selection process which helps HR specialists identify if the person qualifies the requirements even before looking at a CV.

Lukas received the Knowledge grant to cover the tuition fee and living expenses. He will learn about the latest innovations of the eco and sustainable agriculture business in the two-year Master program at the world’s best agricultural university in the Netherlands.
